PLEXIGLAS® Mineral for façades

The extremely resistant sheet material for structural shells.
This mineral-filled acrylic material with homogeneously molded-in color can be formed in three dimensions.
It is the ideal choice for façade panels that need to meet stringent requirements,
for façade elements that are storey-high, formed, individually routed or printed.
It has a special surface and unique reflection behavior.
It combines the longevity and toughness of a homogeneous sheet material with the proven benefits of rear-ventilated façades, like separating heat protection from weathering. Combined with conventional supporting structures, the result is a robust façade system with a new sensual feel for safe, individual façade solutions.
Fire behavior: PLEXIGLAS^® Mineral burns without burning droplets, is highly flame-retardant and emits very little smoke. The smoke gases are non-corrosive and non-toxic. PLEXIGLAS^® Mineral BV is rated in Class D, s2, d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1. PLEXIGLAS^® Mineral NF is rated in Class C, s1, d0 for back-ventilated façade paneling and can therefore be used in buildings up to 22 meters high. For indoor installations that are not back-ventilated, the applicable rating is Class B, s1, d0.
